About Mani Bajwa
My journey into mindfulness
My journey into mindfulness began with my own personal challenges. There was a time in my life when finding peace, balance and a sense of wellbeing felt difficult. Through mindfulness and meditation, I gradually began to reconnect with myself, discover inner strength and find a different way of living.
That experience changed more than how I felt. It gave me a sense of purpose.
Having experienced the difference mindfulness could make in my own life, I felt a deep desire to share what I had discovered with others. I wanted people facing their own challenges to know that change is possible, that there are ways to support ourselves through difficult times, and that we can learn to live with greater awareness, kindness and understanding.
In 2015, I began my journey in mental health advocacy, organising awareness campaigns, community talks and workshops. What started as something deeply personal gradually became a commitment to supporting the wellbeing of others.
As my work grew, so did my curiosity. I wanted to understand not only how mindfulness had helped me, but also the science and research behind these practices. This led me to further study and professional training as a Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) teacher through the Oxford Mindfulness Centre.
Today, Happy Minds – Mindfulness with Mani Bajwa brings together my personal experience, years of community advocacy and evidence-informed mindfulness teaching.
My purpose remains simple: to help people reconnect with themselves, discover their own inner resources and bring mindfulness into everyday life.
